ABOUT US

Shepparton Sailability is a local not-for-profit self-funded community service which was established in 2012.

 

Shepparton Sailability is aimed at providing people of all abilities the opportunity to learn to sail in an inexpensive, fun and safe manner in the revolutionary Access yachts on beautiful Lake Victoria in Shepparton.

                     

The Access yachts provide a safe, stable and easy to sail craft that can’t tip over and can be used by people of all ages and abilities to enjoy the independence and exhilaration of sailing at a recreational or competitive level.

  • Wheelchair access pontoon

  • Lifting hoist

  • Safety equipment such as life jackets etc.

  • Recovery boat

 

 

 

  • 4 x 2.3 Access Yachts, these have a crew of 2 and a single mainsail

  • 2 x 303 Access Yachts, these also have a crew of 2 and 2 sails.

  • The unique design of these yachts focuses on safety, easy rigging and low maintenance.

  • They are extremely stable, safe, easy and fun to sail.

  • The design aims to make sailing accessible to a broad range of people of all abilities.
